Dear Quddus, my secret Santa.

Everybody talks about Xmas. I used to be like them, until I met you who has not celebrated Xmas in the 15 year I have known you. Sometimes I became sulky because I wanted to be the lovers spending the romance on the special evening. Nowadays, I do not have such a desire as I get my own Quddus Santa who brings a peace at the end of the day every night.

Your unkempt hair, unshaved beard, a boring chat that makes me sleepy, but I care about you. The way who you are is special to me.

Gradually, I learn to understand. Waking up and sleeping in by you every day seemed to be just a routine that I did not appreciate. Now, I finally become mature enough that those days and routine is our life creation under the light of effort, caring, cooperation, and patience.
